LAFAYETTE, La. — La’Ryan Gary hit two free throws with eight seconds left in double overtime to lift Louisiana-Lafayette to the victory.

Gary was fouled by DU’s Travis Hallam after he grabbed the offensive rebound on a Lamar Roberson miss with 10 seconds to play and the Ragin’ Cajuns trailing 62-61.

Denver (6-8, 1-2 Sun Belt) led 27-17 at halftime and by as many as 12 points before the Ragin’ Cajuns (5-8, 2-1) used 52.8 percent shooting in the second half to send the game into overtime.

Weber State 88, Northern Colorado 84, OT

OGDEN, Utah — Daviin Davis’ 3-pointer gave Weber State (7-7, 1-0 Big Sky) an 86-84 lead with 18 seconds left in overtime and then forced a UNC turnover that set up Kellen McCoy’s two clinching free throws with 9.3 seconds left.

The Bears (5-10, 1-2) opened the second half with an 11-0 run. That gave Northern Colorado a 50-34 lead, its biggest advantage of the game, less than two minutes into the second half.

Regis 87, Kansas Wesleyan 82

The Rangers (4-7) started with an 11-3 run and led by 10 points with less than seven minutes remaining, then held off a late rally by the Coyotes (7-7) with free throws down the stretch for the victory.

Westminster (Utah) 71, Metro State 65

GOLDEN — Marquise Carrington’s layup with 3:54 left brought the Roadrunners (8-3) within 58-56, but that was the end of Metro’s rally at the Mines/ Metro Holiday Classic.

Colorado Mines 97, Bethel (Kan.) College 59

GOLDEN — Grant Gunhus came off the bench to score 20, and Mines (6-5) shot 74 percent (20-of-27) in the first half while building a 19-point lead.
