Scheduled highway work at several spots along Interstate 25 will slow traffic this week.
Highway work projects are scheduled for daytime and overnight hours as well, and drivers should be prepared for some lane closures and detours.
• I-25 northbound lanes near Ridgegate Parkway, south of Lincoln Avenue, will be affected by a striping and realignment project, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Expect lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. This project should continue through April.
• The shoulder of I-25 northbound near Arapahoe Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for snow fence installation. This project will run through January.
• I-25 southbound between Interstate 70 and 104th Avenue will be affected by overhead sign replacements. One or two lanes will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
• The ramp from eastbound Interstate 76 to southbound I-25 will be closed from midnight Tuesday to 5:30 a.m. A detour route will be posted.
