DENVER—The agency that distributes the state’s share of lottery proceeds has promoted its assistant director to executive director.
Great Outdoors Colorado said Monday that Lise Aangeenbrug will replace John Swartout, who left in December to go to work for the Colorado Oil and Gas Association.
Aangeenbrug first went to work for the agency, known as GOCO, in 1994. She left in 2001 to become director of programs for the Colorado Conservation Trust but returned to GOCO in 2006 as deputy director.
GOCO distributes Colorado Lottery proceeds for projects that protect and improve wildlife, parks, rivers, trails and open space.
