Getting your player ready...

It’s tough to pinpoint exactly what the designers had in mind when they sketched out the Lippi Selk Bag. Maybe they were dreaming of the ultimate campfire attire for a guitar serenade. Or perhaps it was a sunrise yoga session that required maximum mobility while the mercury laid low on the thermometer.

Whatever the inspiration, this so-called “sleep-wear” system is designed for dexterity, with slots for arms and legs and a full hood combining comfort with freedom of movement. The bags come in two densities: the less burly Selk Bag 1 (MSRP: $149) mixing a nylon taffeta shell with polyester insulation rated for comfort from 32 to 49 degrees, and the thicker Selk Bag 2 (MSRP: $229) that offers insulation from temperatures as low as 14 degrees.

Both come in a variety of sizes suited to fit nappers from 5-feet-5 to 6-5, although the extra material means they hardly stuff small. Leg vents, reinforced nylon soles and reversible zippers are a few of the smart touches on these mobile anti-mummy bags.
