Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport declined 4.7 percent in November from the same month in 2007, a reflection primarily of the recent cutback in flying by United Airlines and Frontier Airlines, DIA’s top carriers.
In mid-2008, when jet-fuel prices were especially high, many U.S. carriers, including United and Frontier, said they would cut seat capacity late in the year to save money.
