Denver- based Intrepid Potash Inc. reported Wednesday that the Bureau of Land Management has determined an environmental- impact statement will be required to evaluate the impact of Intrepid’s proposed HB Solar Solution Mine project in Carlsbad, N.M.
As a result, final permitting and approval of the mine will be delayed.
