Commerce City police are looking for a man they say tried to grab a girl on her way to school.
The 14-year-old was walking to Adams City Middle School about 8:15 a.m. this morning when a red truck pulled up behind her in the 7000 block of Ash Street, the girl told police.
In the truck were two men who told her to get in with them. The girl refused, a police news release said, and when she walked away they got out and grabbed her by the wrists.
She broke away and ran to the school.
The girl told authorities the truck was a red model from the 80s or 90s with tinted windows. The rear windows had “Vida Loka” on it.
She said the driver was a Hispanic man with dark spiked hair in his 20s. He was wearing a black striped shirt with black Dickies.
His passenger was a bald Hispanic man in his 20s wearing a tan or grey polo-style shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call Commerce City police at 303.287.2844. Anyone spotting the truck of the suspects should call 911.
