FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A Loveland man has been arrested after one person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a triple shooting at an apartment near the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins.

Police spokeswoman Rita Davis says 21-year-old Joshua Douglas Renn was arrested at a Loveland residence at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Officers were called to an apartment shortly after 10 p.m. Monday on a report of a shooting, and found three men who had been shot.

Davis says they were taken to a Loveland hospital, where a 30-year-old man died. The Larimer County coroner’s office says the man, Clinton M. Hiney of Fort Collins, bled to death after being shot in the chest.

The names and conditions of the other men haven’t been released.

Police say Renn and the victims did have some type of previous relationship.
