DENVER—Colorado Springs officials hope to earn up to $5 million annually through advertising on city property and are exploring corporate sponsorship deals for some of its assets, such as naming rights to its minor league stadium.

City officials plan to begin selling advertising later this year. The city is exploring its sponsorship options through a $50,000 contract with California-based Active Network.

Ads could include anything from logos on police cars, naming rights to city assets such the stadium and Garden of the Gods Park, to ads on T-shirts for city athletic program participants.
