Gambler’s Choice Open Jumper Stake
Elite horses jump 14 hurdles, starting at 4 feet 7 inches high, all choreographed to a rock ‘n’ roll beat. World-class jumpers sail over tall rails and walls in this high-energy crowd-pleaser for children and horse lovers, with big prize money at stake.
Riders can “gamble” points with the “Joker’s Jump” to make up points or risk falling further behind.

Pageantry of Old West rides again
The history and pageantry of the Old West — and Golden’s own Buffalo Bill Cody — take center stage at the National Western Stock Show Events Center this weekend.
The traveling cast of 150 brings to life the history of the West, with teams of horses and cattle, including 20 longhorns, a stagecoach robbery, dance-hall girls and a tribute to the American Indian, as well as trick roping, riding and shooting, with characters such as Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane.
