FORT COLLINS — A pedestrian struck by a car and killed Wednesday night was identified today as Lawrence Aisenbrey, 56, of Fort Collins.
The accident happened near the intersection of Mulberry and Sherwood streets.
Aisenbrey was crossing south across Mulberry when a 1996 Ford Explorer being driven by James Epperson, 23, of Fort Collins hit him.
Aisenbrey was not in a crosswalk and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not believe alcohol or speed contributed to the accident, and no charges are expected to be filed.
The Larimer County coroner ruled that Aisenbrey’s death was accidental.
