VAIL — Vail police say a missing Texas man has been found dead in his truck after apparently killing himself.
Police say evidence suggests 50-year-old Bradley Tubbs shot himself. He was found Saturday morning in his Chevrolet Tahoe in Avon, about 10 miles west of Vail.
Tubbs’ family had reported him missing about a month after he arrived in Vail on Dec. 9. Family members said Tubbs, of Plano, Texas, was visiting Vail for three months while he decided whether he wanted to live there.
Relatives later came to the town and posted signs in the area looking for him.
