VAIL — Vail police say a missing Texas man has been found dead in his truck after apparently killing himself.
Police say evidence suggests 50-year-old Bradley Tubbs shot himself. He was found Saturday morning in his Chevrolet Tahoe in Avon, about 10 miles west of Vail.
Tubbs’ family had reported him missing about a month after he arrived in Vail on Dec. 9. Family members said Tubbs, of Plano, Texas, was visiting Vail for three months while he decided whether to live there.
