An attorney for Scott Lee Kimball, a man under investigation in the deaths of four people, persuaded U.S. District Judge Marcia S. Krieger on Tuesday to postpone his sentencing on a federal weapons charge while he cooperates with authorities on the investigations into those deaths.
A source familiar with Kimball’s case has said that he is negotiating a plea deal in Boulder County involving at least one homicide and that he would tell investigators where to find the victim’s remains.
