WASHINGTON — The Senate on Tuesday delayed a planned vote on Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s confirmation to be secretary of state because of objections from Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, who wants more financial information about ex-President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation. But the Senate is expected to hold a roll-call vote on Clinton’s nomination today.
