At halftime of Wednesday’s Arapahoe-Mullen boys basketball game, the Mullen football team was presented a national trophy by the Army National Guard from the MaxPreps Tour of Champions. Mullen, 12-2, finished 39th nationally and won Colorado’s Class 5A title Nov. 29 with a 20-16 victory over Cherry Creek at Invesco Field at Mile High. In Dave Logan’s six years coaching at Mullen, the Mustangs have made at least the semifinals every season.
