Winning the AL MVP award was one thing. Gracing the cover of the video game “MLB 2009 The Show” is a whole new experience for Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia. Pedroia donned a high-tech suit with sensors placed on all of his flex points so dozens of cameras, shooting at 120 frames per second, could capture his motions at a studio in San Diego. “I was watching that board back there and everything I do going to the plate, it was like identical,” Pedroia said. “It was kind of weird.” The game will be released this spring for PlayStation systems.
