My favorite subject: Chemistry.

My favorite athlete: My brother, Tucker Lane, heavyweight wrestler at Nebraska.

My favorite team: Kansas City Chiefs.

What I listen to: Classic country.

The best thing on my training table: My mom’s spaghetti.

Premeet ritual: I’ve worn the same warm-up shorts every week since my freshman year.

Time management tip: I get up at 5 in the morning, eat, make it to school by 6, lift weights before class, then practice, go home and do homework, and get to bed before 9:30 p.m. I keep the same routine.

Planned career: Business management or administration; will wrestle at Cornell.

My family: Parents Gwen and Larry, brother Tucker, sister Mollie.

I would love to visit: Europe

What I like most about high school sports: It’s all fun, but I like the competition — you go out there and compete on the weekends.

What I like least about high school sports: I like it all, but I just wish some people would take it more seriously.
