A boy has been arrested for investigation of sexually assaulting a girl and physically assaulting a 69-year-old woman, authorities say.
The identity of the suspect has not been released because he is a juvenile, said Sharon Avandaño, Denver police spokeswoman. His age was not released.
The boy allegedly assaulted the girl Jan. 19 in a home in the 9100 block of East Mansfield Avenue between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Avandaño said.
Two days later, the boy physically assaulted the woman on the same block, she said.
The suspect is under investigation for child enticement, unlawful sexual contact with force, false imprisonment and second-degree assault to an at-risk adult.
Denver detectives believe he may be involved in other sexual-assault cases, Avandaño said.
