A 24-year-old Colorado Springs man has been arrested in connection with injuries to his infant daughter, police said.
Bryan Dingman is being held on suspicion of felony child abuse, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
On Monday at about 2:45 a.m., officers were called to 3414 Veracruz Court on a report of a one-month-old baby who was not breathing, police said.
The infant was taken to Memorial Hospital, where tests revealed the child was suffering from a “brain bleed,” police said.
The department’s Crimes Against Children unit began investigating the case and found “probable cause” in establishing that Dingman abused the infant, police said.
