The pregame barking already has begun. Granted, the growls and yelps were coming from actual canines. Two dogs “picked” the Super Bowl winners in a downtown Tampa, Fla., park by sniffing out and then sitting next to the helmet each dog “thought” would win Sunday’s title game between the Steelers and the Cardinals. Bo, a male springer spaniel from the Tampa police department, quickly picked the Steelers. Sunshine, a male yellow Labrador retriever from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives selected the underdog Cardinals. Perhaps Sunshine is onto something. An ATF agent said it was their dog that correctly “picked” the New York Giants last year before Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Ariz.
