Two masked men in a stolen minivan rammed through the front of an Englewood jewelry store this evening, stashed the stolen loot, drove off and got away, police said.
The Dodge Caravan crashed through the glass front of Williams Jewelers at 5106 S. Broadway near West Belleview Avenue just after 6 p.m., according to Englewood police.
No one was injured, and the robbers did not pull guns, police said.
Instead, they jumped out out of the van, snatched an unspecified amount of jewelry and took off in the van again.
It was found abandoned in the 300 block of E. Centennial Avenue, police said.
