LONGMONT, Colo.—Union representatives for workers at a Butterball turkey plant in Longmont are still talking with the company on a contract offer.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 and the company have been negotiating on a number of issues, including safety rules. The union represents about 240 workers at the Longmont processing plant.
The union says its contract expired Monday, but the sides were still talking Thursday.
