A 26-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested for investigation of murder in the shooting death of a man in Montbello on Wednesday evening, authorities say.
Keidric Johnson, 26, and the boy, whose identity was not released because he is a juvenile, were both treated for non-life- threatening gunshot wounds to the face and are being held in Denver City Jail, said Sharon Avendaño, Denver police spokeswoman.
An argument broke out among three men about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of Victor Way, Avendaño said. The suspects pulled out guns and shot one another, she said.
One of the men ran to a home on the same block and called police. He was rushed to University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, where he was later pronounced dead.
He was identified Thursday afternoon as 21-year-old Frank Blair.
