AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Jacques Lamoureux’s second hat trick of the season led Air Force over UConn in an Atlantic Hockey Association game.
With the series sweep Saturday, Air Force remained in first place in the league with a 19-7-2 overall record and a 16-4-2 AHA mark. The Falcons are one point ahead of second-place RIT. UConn fell to 6-22-1 and 5-15-1 in the league.
Air Force outshot UConn 36-20, including a 14-5 advantage in the third period.
Colorado College 4, Michigan Tech 1
HOUGHTON, Mich. — Colorado College sophomore center Tyler Johnson scored two goals to key a victory over Michigan Tech that allowed the Tigers to maintain their hold on fourth place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The win, which came on the heels of a 2-2 tie in Friday’s game, improved CC’s record to 14-9-7 and 10-8-4 in the WCHA.
