An Adams County teen died in a two-vehicle crash Monday night, the Colorado State Patrol said in a news release.
Daniel Salazar, 13, of Bennett died when the Dodge Durango in which he was a passenger was hit by a Ford pickup that ran a stop sign, the State Patrol said. The crash happened about 9 p.m. at East Quincy Avenue and Arapahoe County Road 129, south of Bennett. Daniel died at the scene.
The State Patrol said a silver 2006 Ford F-250, driven by Dylan Zweygardt, 23, of Parker, was heading north on County Road 129. The Ford hit the Dodge truck, driven by Yanira Salazar, 28, of Bennett.
Zweygardt and Salazar were hospitalized with serious injuries, the State Patrol said. Kathleen Toft, 20, of Bennett, in the Ford, and Vivian Salazar, 8, in the Durango, also were injured.
