Vocalist Austin Winkler, sporting a crushed velvet jacket and fingerless gloves, spent the night dashing the length of the stage and playing up the rock star persona to perfection. Although the band tested the waters with a few new tracks, they ultimately didn’t stray too far from delivering the sticky-sweet, bleeding-heart ballads like “Better Than Me” and “Lips of an Angel.” Combine that with the power-driven anthems of opening act (a band that Hinder itself used to open for) and the night pretty much turned out to be a dude rock pageant. –Tina Hagerling
