BOULDER, Colo.—Liz Kritza, a Colorado native who led Tulane to a 76-39 record over the last four years, is the Buffaloes’ new volleyball coach.
Kritza replaces Pi’i Aiu, who stepped down last month after 12 seasons. Aiu was 199-154 at CU and led the Buffs to the NCAA tournament nine times.
Kritza agreed to a five-year contract with a base salary of $105,000, plus performance incentives.
Born in Colorado Springs, the 32-year-old Kritza played at Tulane in the late 1990s, leading Conference USA with 1.41 blocks per game as a junior, when she set a school record with 154 block assists.
