Rage adds veteran winger.

The Rocky Mountain Rage signed veteran right wing Nathan Gillies, who spent the past three seasons with Charlotte and Phoenix of the ECHL.

Rage head coach and general manager Tracy Egeland said Gillies has a tremendous work ethic. “He comes highly recommended by my brother, who coached him for parts of three seasons,” Egeland said, “and by Daymen Rycroft, who was a teammate of his. Gillies’ hard-nosed style of play will be well-suited for the challenges we face on the ice in the coming weeks.”

Egeland’s brother Allan was an assistant coach and Rycroft a player at Charlotte during Gillies’ tenure there.
