ARVADA, Colo.—Police in suburban Denver say they’re looking for someone suspected of using bogus debit cards to buy more than $70,000 worth of iPhones in Colorado, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma and Utah.

Investigators said Wednesday that a bogus card was used to buy three iPhones, two iTunes gift cards and miscellaneous iPhone merchandise from an AT&T store in Arvada in December.

Arvada police said one of the phones was sold on the Internet in Colorado.
