No, it won’t be Maurice “Rocket” Richard on your TV screen. It will be Altitude broadcasting the second period of the Montreal Canadiens’ visit to the Pepsi Center on Friday (the 13th) in black and white, featuring an “old-time” coverage style in celebration of the franchise’s 100th season in the NHL. Changes to the broadcast also will include: a reduced number of cuts and camera angles during action, simpler graphics with player names in an old font style and Kyle Keefe reporting rinkside in an old-style coat and hat.
