The Denver district attorney’s office had Sandra Lee Jacobson rearrested Wednesday as part of a move to have her bond increased in a fatal hit-and-run wreck last month.

Jacobson is accused of sideswiping a van on Peña Boulevard on Jan. 28, causing it to roll over and kill two passengers, Kathryn Krasniewicz, 54, and Kate McClelland, 71.

In his request to increase her bond, Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey noted Jacobson’s lengthy reckless-driving record, including drunken-driving and other traffic offenses, and requested that her bond in Denver prohibited her from driving.
