FreeGreen wants everyone to have the chance to create an environmentally conscious home. That’s why the company is giving away free downloads of complete residential design plans for ready-to-build green homes. Each home design is 30 to 50 percent more efficient than a standard code-built home. Revenue generated from working with green product vendors and charging sustainable builders and contractors to be included in a green directory has allowed the company to share more than 10,000 designs worldwide.
