BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder architect considered a pioneer in environmental design has been missing since Monday.
Boulder police say 48-year-old Greg Franta was last seen early Monday after having dinner with a family member in Denver on Sunday night. His family filed a missing-person report Tuesday.
Investigators say they have no reason to suspect foul play.
Franta is a vice president of the Rocky Mountain Institute, which develops strategies for renewable energy and energy-efficient construction.
Franta is co-founder and a past chairman of the American Institute of Architects committee on the environment. He was named the 1998 AIA Colorado Architect of the Year.
