DENVER—He’s been called a “pint-sized Casanova,” “America’s youngest love doctor,” and more.

And 9-year-old Alec Greven of Castle Rock is living up to his reputation.

Alec, who wrote the book “How to Talk to Girls,” appeared Friday on Fox’s “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet,” dispensing Valentine’s Day love advice to audience members in the show’s New York studios.

He told a woman whose boyfriend is taking her to Aruba that she doesn’t have to get him anything expensive in return—as long as it’s something that means a lot to him.

Alec’s book spent seven weeks on The New York Times’ best-seller list.

Twentieth Century Fox plans to turn the book into a movie, with director Shawn Levy of “Night at the Museum” and “Pink Panther” in charge.
