LARKSPUR, Colo.—Authorities have identified the Colorado Springs woman killed when her car rolled over on Interstate 25 near Larkspur.
The Colorado State Patrol says 21-year-old Amber N. Newsome was northbound on I-25 at about 2 a.m. Thursday when the 2003 Suzuki Aerio she was driving went off the right side of the road.
The car then skidded and rolled, ejecting Newsome, before coming to rest on its top.
Newsome was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not been determined, but investigators say alcohol and drugs are not suspected as contributing factors.
Larkspur is 23 miles north of Colorado Springs and 40 miles south of Denver.
