This week’s haiku topic of “dust” generated a real storm of verse for the Denver Post $25 Haiku Contest. Some teased us with poems about cleaning (or not), others contemplated mortality. Because it’s been kind of a grim week out in the real world, in the end, we had to go with the good humor of Vanessa Gaumer of Englewood:

Neverending dust

Bunnies roll like tumbleweeds
