LOVELAND, Colo.—Authorities say a 52-acre wildfire west of Loveland is about 50 percent contained.

Larimer County sheriff’s spokeswoman Eloise Campanella said Wednesday the cause of the fire is under investigation but it’s believed to be human-caused.

The fire is in the Bobcat Ridge Natural Area near the town of Masonville, about 10 miles northwest of Loveland and 50 miles north of Denver.

Campanella says the fire is in rocky terrain and difficult to reach.
