Colorado’s chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame had 10 scholarship winners at its 16th annual banquet Monday. Seniors John Ball, Kit Carson; Brian Ford, Alamosa; Colten Huskey, Dove Creek; Kyle Lontine, Legacy; Justin McMillan, Hoehne; Gavin Miller, Greeley West; Kenneth Montel, Fort Morgan; Jared Parker, Green Mountain; Zach Short, Salida; and Chase Toft, Genoa-Hugo; were recognized, as were longtime Overland coach Tony Manfredi and official George Demetriou. In addition to coaching academies for youth through high school, the local chapter’s membership is among the top 10 nationally.
