DUBUQUE, IOWA — Iowa authorities have arrested a man suspected in the shooting death of a man in front of his home in Greeley.
Dubuque County Sherif Kenneth Runde says 27-year-old Cecil Erb was captured Friday evening near Peosta in northeast Iowa.
Runde says a deputy stopped Erb’s car, and he was taken into custody without incident.
Erb is being held in the Dubuque County jail on a first-degree murder warrant from Colorado. He is a suspect in the death of 44-year-old Jeffrey Watson Sr.
The Weld County coroner says Watson was shot several times as he was leaving for work Thursday morning.
