LOVELAND, Colo.—Authorities say a teenager has been formally charged in the November slaying of a 23-year-old in a Loveland school parking lot.

Nineteen-year-old Adrian Rodarte was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder.

He is accused of fatally shooting Casey Harvey on Nov. 15 after two groups of people got into an argument in the parking lot of Thompson Valley High School.

Authorities say Harvey died of a single gunshot wound. A neighbor told police he saw about a dozen people gathered in the school’s parking lot before the shooting.

Rodarte has been held without bail at the Larimer County jail since being taken into custody a day after the shooting.
