PHOENIX — Jurors began deliberating Thursday in the trial of a man accused of killing eight people and attacking 20 others in dozens of random nighttime shootings in 2005 and 2006. Deliberations began shortly after prosecutors wrapped up closing arguments in the trial of Dale Hausner, who is accused of attacking people and animals from his car in a conspiracy that occasionally included his brother, Jeff, and his roommate, Samuel Dieteman. Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty against Hausner if he’s convicted.
