Events for families hunting for last-minute fun

Wait, isn’t it always about the kids? Saturday and Sunday. Bring comfy shoes and a gang of fun-loving kids: The All About Kids Expo takes over the Colorado Convention Center today and Sunday. Presented by Radio Disney, the expo features 90,000 square feet of entertainment, including pony rides, giant slides, a magician, a climbing wall and more. Teen-pop group The Clique Girlz will perform today, followed by Choo Choo Soul (pictured above) on Sunday. Nobody ever said love was uncomplicated

Sunday. The Denver Children’s Theatre presents its new show, “The Golden Goose,” starting Sunday. Based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, “The Golden Goose” tells the adventures of Dummling, a brave soul who’s unfairly put-upon because of his name. In order to win the hand of a princess, he sets off on a series of quests to prove his worthiness. 1 p.m. Sundays through May 3 (no performance April 12).
