LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.—Two people suffer non-life threatening injuries after a tour bus carrying a band from Colorado collides with a tractor-trailer in suburban Kansas City.

The Kansas City Star is reporting that the accident happened Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 50 east of Lee’s Summit.

The initial investigation shows the eastbound bus tried to turn into a median crossing and struck the Fed Ex tractor-trailer. Five people were aboard the bus.

The injured people were taken to a hospital in the area.

No other details were immediately available.
