Police are warning residents near the University of Denver to take extra precautions after a string of burglaries over the last two months.
Police say there have been 11 break-ins since Jan. 5 in the 2000 to 2300 blocks of South High Street.
Most reported incidents have happened late at night or early in the morning.
Twice, police say, the robbery suspect was surprised by residents and pulled out a gun.
