PUEBLO, Colo.—Pueblo city officials say the cleanup from a natural gas explosion that killed one person and destroyed two buildings will be complete by March 10.

The November explosion destroyed the Branch Inn restaurant and an adjoining business called A Classic Boutique.

A 22-year-old employee of the boutique was killed. A man rescued from the Branch Inn rubble recovered from his injuries but later died of cancer.

Investigators blamed the explosion on a gas leak in the basement of the Branch Inn from a faulty connection in a nearby gas line.

Two nearby buildings that were damaged by the explosion are also set to be demolished.
