Meese, fronted by brothers Patrick (above) and Nathan, will release its debut, “Broadcast,” on Atlantic Records this summer. Their show at the tiny Larimer Lounge on Tuesday was a special one. Photos by .
When we asked Reverb contributor to tell us about the show at the on Tuesday, two words came up immediately: “Energetic” and “packed.”
That’s hardly surprising. The relatively impromptu show followed the private listening party of “Broadcast,” Meese’s Atlantic Records debut. The record will be released this summer, but the band wanted to get together with some local friends, listen to the record and play the songs live. The scene was a hearty mix of local industry, friends and fans, and many noted that it’s likely “the last time we’ll see Meese in this small a venue ever again.” – Ricardo Baca
