Goalkeeper Scott Reid stopped 42-of-46 shots to lead the Rocky Mountain Rage to a 4-3 victory Thursday against the Colorado Eagles in a Central Hockey League game at the Broomfield Event Center.
Simon Watson got the Rage on the board first with a shot inside the right faceoff circle, then assisted on David Morelli’s second-period goal. Ryan McLeod and Daymen Raycroft scored early in the third as the Rage went up 4-1. The Eagles got power-play goals from Steve Haddon and Ryan Tobler but could not tie it up.

The Eisenhower-Evans caddie scholarship program at the University of Colorado has awarded full tuition-and-housing scholarships to 10 high-school seniors in Colorado.
The caddies and their courses: Cody Amen (Bear Creek Golf Club), Laura Baines (Boulder Country Club), Kevin Flahive-Foro (Colorado GC), Jesse Funk (Green Gables CC), Aaron Guereca (City Park GC), Gage Henrich (Pueblo CC), Trevor Hill (Denver CC), Joelle Rickard (Glenmoor CC), Estefania Vigil (Roaring Fork Club) and Kasey Wachtendorf (Club at Flying Horse).
