LINCOLN, Neb.—Karlee Gansebom and Kelsey Hansen scored 10 points apiece and Bennington came from behind to defeat Crofton 51-40 in the Class C1 semifinals at the girls state tournament Friday.
The Badgers (20-3) outscored Crofton 16-3 in the fourth quarter to advance to the state finals Saturday for the first time. Bennington will play Bishop Neumann (24-1).
Caitlin Jones scored nine points to lead Crofton (22-2).
