LINCOLN, Neb.—Shelby Beaudette scored 27 points, Paige Goeken added 21 and Bancroft-Rosalie outscored Humphrey 20-4 at the free-throw line in a 66-61 Class D1 semifinal victory Friday night at the girls state tournament.

The defending champion Panthers (26-1), who play Silver Lake (22-3) in Saturday’s final, made 9 of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter and 20 of 25 in the game.

Humphrey was a two-girl show offensively, with Leann Osten and Paige Frauendorfer combining for 58 of the Bulldogs’ 61 points. Osten had 32 points and Frauendorfer 26.
